If you like breakfast, then you know the cravings for a crispy bread with a delicious jam on it. But sometimes you would like to get along with a little less sugar. Thanks to Chia seeds, the consistency remains the same as with “conventional jam”, but the sugar content is a lesser one.

Ingredients for 250 ml glass
250 frozen mixed berries
2 El Chia seeds
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ tsp cinnamon powder
1-2 tablespoons of coconut blossom sugar
Preparation
Boil in a small saucepan at low temperature for about 5-10 minutes. Stir frequently.
Add cinnamon, vanilla extract and coconut blossom sugar, mix well until the sugar has completely dissolved. Simmer for a further 5 minutes.
If necessary, purée the berries with a blender or blender. Otherwise only crush with a fork, who wants to have bits in the jam.
Then take the pot from the hearth and add the Chia seeds. Stir well and briefly stand for a further 5 minutes to allow the seeds to swell.
Then fill in a lockable glass, screw and allow to cool.
The jam is stored in the refrigerator for about 1-2 weeks.
